Fredric "Jerry" Jerome Hafner

Fredric "Jerry" Jerome Hafner beloved son, brother, and uncle passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 in Mesquite, Nevada. His journey started November 7, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois (13yrs) continuing on to Montana (15yrs) California (21yrs) and the last three years of his life in Mesquite, Nevada.

Of his challenges and achievements in life his most favorite was horse ranching. In leisure he was an avid football fan, the Chicago Bears being his team and finally in his later years he became very involved with church and daily prayers. One of the most important things he will be remembered for were his daily phone calls to everyone that he loved and cared about.

"Jerry" is survived by his parents Frederick and Margaret (Langan) Hafner of Mesquite, NV; siblings, Karen (James) Kelley of Beaumont, CA, Annette (Jeff) Eisenhower, Darren (Trish) Hafner all of Mesquite, NV; his God Children, Chandra Cavanaugh, Aaron Hunt, and Emily Hafner; 22 nieces and nephews , 8 great nieces and nephews all who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary and nephew Sean Kiernan Kelley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Scenic, AZ at 11am with a viewing from 10 to 11am. A celebration of life will be held after the services at 1 pm at 100 N Pulsipher Lane Club House in Mesquite, NV.
