"Frannie" Frances Carlyn (Whitelock) Palmer

August 22, 1942 — October 21, 2019

Beaver Dam

Francis  Carlyn Palmer, age 77, passed away October 21, 2019 at her home in Beaver Dam, Arizona. She was born August 22, 1942 in Oakland, California to Robert Whitelock and Leona Zeeman Whitelock. On March 24, 1964 she married LuDale J. Palmer in Ely, Nevada.
“Frannie” went by Carlyn in her early years and later became known as Francis and finally affectionately as Frannie and Mom.  She would like to let y’all know that her work here is done. She received a call, giving her an opportunity she couldn’t refuse. This opportunity comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Her new mission took her to a wonderful place, where she will be socializing, dancing and  reading until her hearts content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. She left detailed instructions for her husband and children to celebrate her mission here, which is now complete. She has fulfilled her travels and graduated at the highest level.
She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah with her twin sister and partner in crime, Marilyn Call. She loved to travel, camp and grow spiritually through travel, retreats and study. “Frannie” founded and developed a successful mail order craft business and in her spare time could always be found bullshitting for the love and enjoyment of people.
She is survived by spouse Dale, daughters Carollee Palmer, Cindy Nengas, (Kent), grandchildren Tyson Garcia, (Carrie), Schantelle Wells, (Chad), Nick Nengas, Candice Thackeray (Chad) and great grandchildren Kilee and Mason Garcia, Gabriel Wells, Ainslee and Brooklyn Thackeray.
We would love it if y’all would join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 2 - 5 p.m. at the Mesquite Veteran’s Center, 840 Hafen Lane, Mesquite, Nevada.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.virginvalleymortuary.com
