Frank E. White

Frank Elbert White, age 83, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born August 29, 1928 in McGill, Nevada to Richard and Maude Myrtle Miller White. On November 6, 1949 he married Marilyn Sue Brewer in Kingman, Arizona. Frank grew up in Ely, Nevada. He served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. After he married Marilyn, they lived in Las Vegas, then they moved their young family back to Ely where he worked for the Nevada Bell Telephone Company. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gathering fire wood and riding his motorcycles and four-wheelers. He enjoyed dancing with his sweetheart and time with family. He will be remembered for his role as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife Marilyn of Logandale, NV; two sons and two daughters: Suzann (Robert) Winters of Riverton, UT; George (Debra) of Ruth, NV; Maryann (Scott) Fritsche of Ely, NV; Stuart of Logandale, NV; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and one sister, Daisy (Henry) Pepe of Florida. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one grandson. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 735 Avenue North, Ely, Nevada.
