Mesquite

Frank (72) passed away peacefully in his home in Mesquite, Nevada on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Frank was born to Frank M. Grumblatt and wife Maureen Collins. Mr. Grumblatt left Maureen and little Frank to pursue a career in entertainment. After some time Maureen married Paul B. (Stretch) Larsen who later adopted Frank. Frank attended Orem High School then entered the US Navy and served aboard the U.S.S. Braine during the Vietnam War. Frank retired from Qwest after 25 years of service and found joy working at the local golf course during the peak season in Mesquite.

Frank was a free spirit who enjoyed music, especially entertaining people and making them smile. He was a talented acoustic guitar player, electric bass player and singer. Throughout his lifetime he played on many a dive bar stage with various bands. He had a love of the game of Golf as well. He'd play a round whenever the opportunity presented itself. Frank especially loved joining random threesomes because he loved meeting new people. Several of whom became regular golfing buddies. Frank was also a lover of old cars and was quite proud of his Cherry Red Mustang GT 5.0. He was so proud of his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife Jeanne Van Wagenen Larsen; step-daughter Kari Adams (Barry); daughter Melissa Ann Larsen; step-daughter Tiffani Jacobs; step-son Chad C. Christensen (Sarah); daughter Meghan Larsen Tanner; 3 beautiful grandchildren Alexis (22), Cheyanne (18) and Zachary (6); sister Denise Larsen Jeffs (David); brothers Geoff Paul Larsen (Raelene) and Brad Cal Larsen; and his darling Yorkie, Mia.
