Francisca Galindo Baeza

Francisca Galindo Baeza,78, passed away December 30, 2009 at her home in Bunkerville, Nevada. She was born in San Carlos, Mexico to Manuel and Guadalupe Cabellero Galindo on December 27, 1931.
Francisca grew up in Mexico on a ranch where she learned how to work very hard. She was good with animals and was said to have a green thumb in the garden. She married Cornelio Dominguez Baeza on June 14, 1947. They moved around as they raised their family living in Overton, NV, Blythe, CA, Salt Lake City, UT, and moved to Bunkerville, NV in 1972. She loved to cook and made sure that everyone that came by did not leave with an empty belly. She liked to go to the casino and play the slot machines. She loved to care for her grandchildren who loved her and will greatly miss her. She enjoyed visiting with friends, and gave great hugs to everyone who knew her. She is famous for her cheese enchiladas, tamales and empanada.
Francisca is survived by her husband Cornelio Baeza of Bunkerville, NV, six children Raymundo (Lina) Baeza of Mexico, Candelario (Delia) Baeza of Bunkerville, NV, Mariana (Juan) Mora of Bunkerville, NV, Humberto (Suzette) Baeza of Beaver Dam, AZ, Jesus (Anita) Baeza of Bunkerville, NV, Armando (Doris) Baeza of Mesquite, NV, a sister Manuela, five half brothers and sisters, Herminlindo, Luis, Ellen, Maria DeJesus Genoveva, 23 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Ricardo and a granddaughter Maria DeJesus.
Funeral mass will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 10:00 am at the new La Virgen De Gaudalupe Catholic Church in Mesquite. A visitation will be held Friday, January 1, 2010 from 6 to 7:45pm with a Rosary to begin 7:45pm. Interment will be at the Bunkerville Cemetery following the Mass.
