Our Beloved mother, Fay Stubbs Kitchen, left mortality on September 4, 2016. Fay was the youngest of six children born to Wilford R. Stubbs and Pearl Penrod. Born May 16, 1930, Fay attended school in Edgemont and Orem, graduating from Lincoln High School where she met Wesley Kitchen, her future husband. They were married October 6, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple.
After Wesley was discharged from the Navy, Fay and Wesley moved to Salt Lake City where they lived for 18 years. In 1968 they moved to southern California. Fay worked for Goodyear Tire Company for 12 years while in Southern California. In 1996 they moved to Payson, Arizona and in 2004 they moved to Alamo, Nevada. Fay was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many different callings.
Fay is survived by her son Terry (Phoenix, AZ), son Jimmy (Mesa, AZ), daughter Rebecca (Lawton, OK), sister Donna Bunnell (Orem, UT), 11 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT . Viewing from 10 to 11 am prior to services at the chapel.
