Eugene Curtis Pierce

Eugene "Gene" Pierce, 77, of Logandale Nevada went to be with the Lord April 23, 2009, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 13, 1931 in Lexington Nebraska to William and Nanna Pierce. Gene was a US Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 75. He has lived in Nevada since 1968, and resided in Logandale for the last 19 years. He was a mechanic his whole life. He loved fishing and hunting, and going to Sugar's with his friends. He was an extremely loving husband, father, step-father, father-in-law, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will forever remain in our hearts; and be greatly missed by anyone who had the privilege to have known him.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Esther Pierce; his daughters Sherri Howard and her husband, David of Las Vegas Nevada, Donna Soria of Montana, and Gayle Zygalinski of California; his stepson Jimmy Traver and his wife Chrissie of Idaho; his grandson Michael Medeiros and his wife Sandy, great-granddaughter, Alyssa and great-grandson, Gavin; his granddaughter, Stephanie Bean and her husband Josh, and great-grandson Jace; his granddaughters, Dustie Ward and Hayden Traver of Idaho; his granddaughter Janae Himel, great-grandsons Hunter Himel and Zion Jones; and his grandson Adam Howard and his wife Angela, great-grandson Trenton.

And many other extended family members who he took into his heart and with all of that we call it family...
