Ethel Hone

Ethel Hone, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Mesa View Hospital in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born May 18, 1930 in Springville, Utah to Claus Earl and Lillie Beacham Tranchell. She married Bert J Hone in 1984 in Provo, Utah.

Ethel moved to Mesquite 22 years ago form Spanish Fork, Utah. She was an excellent cook. hard working and fun. She loved to fish and camp in her younger years. You always new where you stood with Ethel. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her husband Bert Hone; four sons and two daughters: Rick (Rozanne) Clayson of San Angelo, Texas; Marsha (Robin) Tilby of Lyman, Wyoming; Brent (Tina) Lindsay of Spanish Fork, Utah; Brett Lindsay of Firestone, Colorado; Jeff Hone of Vernal, Utah; Diana "Annie" (Brad)Barrett of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sisters and one brother: Mary Ann Scott of Nephi, Utah; Shirline Johnson of Alamo, California; Jack Tranchell of Springville, Utah; 25 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one daughter Jackie Bird and one son Blaine Hatfield; two grandchildren Bo Driggs and Travis Lindsay; two great grandchildren Kayden Jensen and Patia Lynn Christensen; two brothers Walter Tranchell and Ronnie Trachell.
