Mesquite

Estorberto “Gil” R. Baldenegro, 93, passed away in March 24, 2019 in Mesquite, NV. Gil was born on November 28, 1925 in Mogollon, NM to Emelecio Baldenegro and Angelita Ramirez. He met Elaine Carter twenty years ago in Palm Springs, CA, and they have enjoyed their romance ever since.

Gil was a very spiritual person, and spent much of his life trying to better himself. He could often be found with his copy of The Power of Awareness by Neville, and worked to improve three qualities in his life; compassion, humility, and patience. He also developed a deep faith in God. He was a very intelligent person, and spent many hours with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren working on puzzles. He owned his own business doing building maintenance and repair, and specialized as an electrician. He served honorably in the U.S. Army, joining in March 1944 during WWII and reenlisted in 1946.

Gil is survived by his companion; Elaine Carter, his daughters; Cynthia (Stephen) Selznik, Pamela Felix, Jacquie Tomashaw, and Denise (Danny) George, his nine grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren, and his one great-great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, and his daughter; Kari Ramirez.

There will be Military Honors and Services held at a later date. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book.
