Ernesto Zubia

Ernesto Zubia, age 57, died peacefully at his brother's home in Moapa, Nevada. He was born June 18, 1958 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Ramon and Cecelia Prieto Zubia. On March 24, 2012 he married Estela Arellano in Overton, Nevada.
Ernesto lived most of his life in Moapa Valley, Nevada. He graduated high school from Moapa Valley High School. Always a loyal and hard working employee, he enjoyed working for Las Vegas Paving and later when he moved to Dickinson, North Dakota, working Northern Improvement Paving. He really enjoyed the change of living in North Dakota. He loved his children and time with them, watching movies and traveling. He will be remembered for his humor, his laugh, his kindness and for his dedication to God and willingness to help others.
Survivors include his wife, Estela of ND; three daughters: Victoria (Dan) Francis of Las Vegas, NV; Vianca (Shawn) Santos of Las Vegas, NV; Vanessa of Reno, NV; step children: Tracy (Collin) Burr of MD; Timothy Burkey, Anthony Burkey and Citally Santana all of ND; eleven grandchildren; his mother, Cecelia Zubia of Overton, NV; five brothers and four sisters: Jesus (Voncel) Telles of Overton, NV; George (Laura) Zubia of Indian Springs, NV; Leticia Gonzalez of CA; Oscar (Anna) Zubia of Moapa, NV; Sandra (Gerardo) Perez of Logandale, NV; Armando (Tracy) of Overton, NV; Graciela (Michael) Landavazo of Santa Fe, NM; Jaime (Maria) Zubia of Overton, NV and Veronica Zubia of TX.
