Ernest James Hoadley
February 10, 1941 — December 22, 2013
Ernest James Hoadley, 72, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 at his Mesquite residence. He was born February 10, 1941 in Idaho Falls, ID to James and Violet Merrill Hoadley. He married Carol Formeller February 14, 1999 in Hermston, OR.
Ernest grew up on a ranch and loved going to rodeos. He loved the culture of the west, country music, The Four Tenors, and football. He enjoyed reading, walking and watching the ice skaters in the Olympics. Ernest served our country in the United States Marines. He was very patriotic and was very proud of being in the Marine Corp. He supported the Childrens Hospital in Portland, OR , the St. Jude's Children Hospital and the Disabled Veterans . Ernest was really good with kids.
He is survived by his wife Carol; sons, Shane Kevin Hoadley of Lima, UT and Kelly Ernest Hoadley of Yamhill, OR; 4 grandchildren; his brother, Norman Harold Hoadley and his sister, Ruby Walters. He is preceded in death by his son Michael Shawn Hoadley and his two brothers, Ron and Lamar Ellis.
