Ellen Sandra Thomas

Ellen Sandra Thomas, age 86, died peacefully Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born July 22, 1938 in Panguitch, Utah to Marion Boyd and Lola Smith Lister. On November 4, 1955 she married Frederick Samuel Thomas in Ogden, Utah. He preceded her in death on August 26, 2011. 

Ellen grew up in Roy, Utah. She met Fred while he was stationed at Hill Air Force Base. After their marriage, she was a faithful wife, supporting her husband in his career. They lived in Alabama, California, Germany, back to Utah, then Texas and finally to Nevada in 1971 where he flew with the Thunderbirds. They settled in Overton, Nevada in 1994. Ellen always loved animals, especially cats and dogs. She collected beautiful China dolls. She loved her time camping with Fred and traveling. 

Survivors include her son, Michael (Nadine Bride) of Littleton, CO; granddaughter, Ashley (Drew) Kennedy; two great granddaughters: Callie Breuer and Kaelyn Kennedy. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
