Edward E. Graham

April 2, 1943 - March 3, 2013 Ed Graham passed away at the age of 69, Sunday March 3, 2013 in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born April 2, 1943 to Oscar and Kathryn (Kurtz) Graham in Bassett, Nebraska. He married Dale Ross August 14, 1981 in Riverton, Wy. Ed received his elementary education in Bassett, then his family moved to Jeffrey City, and later to Lander, Wy. He graduated from Lander Fremont County Vocational High School, with the "Class of 1961". Many knew him as "Fast Eddy". Following high school he worked construction building many homes in the Black Subdivision, then traveled the Western States core drilling. After sowing his oats he returned to Lander and was a heavy equipment mechanic for Brasel & Sims. He later owned Eddy's Water Hauling and was a bus driver for the Lander School District. His interests began with racing and rebuilding classic cars, demolition derby competitions, scuba diving, snow machine club, trap shooting, bird hunting, bowling, Nascar, golf, and fishing in Alaska. He was passionate about sports and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler, and Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. He especially enjoyed attending his children's athletic events and special moments with his granddaughter. He was in the Army National Guard and a member of the Lander Elks Lodge. Ed is survived by his wife Dale of 31 years, daughter Diana and granddaughter Arleigh Cain of Spearfish, SD, and son Jonathan of Lincoln, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents, and Aunts and Uncles. He has requested cremation, no services, and interment at a future date at the Hudson Cemetery.
