Edna Louise Zeedyk
January 24, 1937 — March 25, 2014
Edna Louise Zeedyk, age 77, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at her home in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born January 24, 1937 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Mads Baum and Edna Pearl Mosher Jorgensen. On August 13, 1954 she married Leonard Zeedyk in Kingman, Arizona. They were sealed in the St. George LDS Temple on November 27, 1964. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2013.
Edna grew up in Logandale. She raised her family in Las Vegas, NV, St. George, UT and Logandale, NV. She served faithfully in the LDS Church. She enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and square dancing with Leonard.
Survivors include two sons: Leonard (Carolyn) and Rick (Cindy) all of Henderson, NV; one son in law, Laryn Jones of N. Logan, UT; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia, one granddaughter and two brothers.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Logandale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. prior to services at the Moapa Valley Mortuary Chapel.
