Edna Blanche Shrock, age 93, passed away on November 27, 2020 in her daughters home in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born November 2, 1927 in Punxsutawney, PA to Ray and Ethel F. Carley Walker during the great depression. Her family worked hard to make it through. These experiences helped her to persevere through out her life.

After his release from the military, they moved to the family farm where the raised chickens and eggs for the local economy. They relocated to Lockport, NY in 1948. Finally, after many years of waiting, they welcomed their only daughter, Karen. Sadly, in 1958, Clair passed away suddenly and Edna was left to be a single mother.
Edna had a long career with GMC, overcoming barriers of women in the workplace to eventually earn a position as supervisor. She retired in 1983, then worked a second career for E& J Ceramics until 2000. She sold ceramics all over the world. She was very artistic and enjoyed teaching others.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (George) Hendrickson, two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three nieces; three nephews and one sister in law Lorraine (Paul) Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ray Walker, Jr.
