Edgar Salvador Cortez, age 22, died unexpectedly April 13, 2012 in Mesquite, Nevada. Edgar was born September 15, 1989 in Visalia, CA to Aristeo and Martha Cortez. Edgar moved from CA to Mesquite six years ago. He worked at the Conestoga Golf Course as a cook. He enjoyed football, fast racing and spending time with friends. Edgar was a hard worker and made everything fun. Edgar is survived by Fiancee Sheyanne Fox and his daughter, Serenity Neveah Cortez of Las Vegas, NV; parents Aristeo and Martha Cortez of Mesquite, NV; Grandparents, Daniel and Maria Alcazar and three brothers, Jose Manuel Cortez of Colima, Mexico, Carlos Cortez of St.George, UT and Daniel (Yessica) Cortez of Mesquite, NV. A funeral will be held in his honor at the Iglesia Christiana Bet-el, 350 Falcon Ridge Pkwy Ste 600A, Mesquite, Nevada on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 11:00 am. Viewing at 9:00 am prior to service.
