Ed Hutchinson

November 28, 1937 — July 21, 2016

Edward Allen Hutchinson passed away on July 21, 2016 at his home in Overton, NV. Edward was born to Glenn Wallace Hutchinson and Gwendolyn Mary Pierce on November 28, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA. He married the love of his life, Margaret Lynn Carr on 1975, who passed away on April 8, 1999.

Edward worked as an engineer for many years. He built, repaired, and sold weather equipment all over the world and attended many conventions and shows over the thirty-seven years he worked for Climet Instuments. As an engineer, Edward had a great skill with woodworking and crafting. He would build furniture and other works, his most favorite piece being a lamp of intricate design. Edward was proud of his military service, being stationed at Hawaii on an Aircraft Carrier for the Navy from 1957 to 1960. As a young man, Edward was fascinated by magic, and would do magic tricks for his friends and children. He dearly loved his wife Marge, and was devoted to her through their marriage, and was reunited with her after seventeen years.

Ed is survived by his children; Edward (Geri) Rush, Darlene Baumgartner, Stephen Shea, Jennifer Bruce, and Mark (Tammy) Hutchinson, twelve grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his dear wife, Margaret Lynn Hutchinson, and his brother, David Hutchinson.
