Doris Agnes Robison
December 24, 1921 — October 2, 2009
Doris Agnes Boever Robison, age 87, died Friday, October 2, 2009. She was born December 24,1921 in Belgrade, Minnesota to Frank Frances and Mary Virginia Boever. On Jun 1, 1970 she married Joe Ray Robison in Elko, Nevada. They later renewed their vows on June 25, 1983 in Wenatchee, WA.
Doris really was a 'Rosie the Riveter' during World War II. She worked hard welding in a shipyard. She also was employed as a waitress and a manager. She and Joe lived in many locations throughout the United States before settling in Elko, Nevada from 1983 to 1992. They then retired in Overton, Nevada where they made many wonderful friends. Joe preceded her in death December 7, 2008.
Survivors include one brother and three sisters; Marvin Boever of Iowa, Betty Boever, Arlene Bona and Rose Ellen Anderson all of Minnesota.
A memorial graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Pioneer Hill Cemetery.
