Doreen Natalie Thiel

Doreen Natalie Thiel passed away at her home in Mesquite, Nevada on the morning of October 6, 2012 at the age of 77 from Leukemia. She was born October 19, 1934 in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada to Emil Freiheit and Natalie Sonneburg.
She is survived by her only daughter, Deborah Natalie Polich, her son-in-law Bob Polich both of Silverthorne, Colorado and her two grandchildren, Damon Polich, Denver, Colorado and Keara Natalie Polich, San Francisco, California. She was preceded in death by her mother, Natalie, father, Emil, brothers Elmer and Victor and her husband John Thiel.
Doreen had many hobbies and enjoyed everything that life provided. She could never pass by someone without making them a new friend. In Mesquite she had worked at the Del Webb Sales Center as a Hostess and most of all she was known as the "Hat Lady". She fully indulged in her amazing creative spirit!
There will be a "Celebration of Life/Birthday" at the 1880 Grille at the Conestoga Golf Club on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 2PM. Please come and wear your most outrageous hat!
