Donald Cameron Paynter

Donald Cameron "Donnie" Paynter, age 56, died Friday, September 2, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born June 21, 1955 in Phoenix, Arizona to J Cameron and Geraldine Claudette Mancuso Paynter. On June 10, 1993 he married Eileen Marie Drew in Las Vegas, Nevada. Donnie spent most of his life in Arizona. In 1977 he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, then back and forth to Logandale until in 1993 making Logandale home. He worked as a roofer for more than 30 years and later as a bartender at the Red Rooster in Overton. He loved being in the desert, hunting rocks and riding his Rhino and 4-wheelers, hanging with the grand kids and riding his harley. . Survivors include his wife Eileen, four sons and two daughters: Cody (Tracy) Paynter of Prescott Valley, AZ; Jeremy (Asia) Paynter of Denver, CO; Joseph Drew of Logandale, NV; Blair Gregory of Logandale, NV; son in law, Ricky Ward of Henderson, NV; Amber Drew and Ashley Sumner both of Las Vegas, NV and eleven grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 5 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, Nevada.
