Dick Lamond Robinson

Dick Lamond Robinson, AKA, Dicky Bird, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2019. He was seventy-nine years of age. He was born in Circleville, UT to Frank Robinson and Audrey Edith Nay. He has two sisters; Valene Scoble and Sharon Gray. Then he moved to McGill, NV. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, hunting, fishing, and driving that Big Rig.

He married Sharon Mearl Bennett. They had five children, loni, Rick, Gina, Craig, and Travis.

He came to Vegas in 1961, he worked three jobs driving trucks, and worked at the gas station on Lake Mead and Nellis, then would go entertain people of Vegas with his music where he made many friends. He drove for Safeway for twenty-eight years, then another twelve for Las Vegas Paving, and retired from Teamster Driving. He was known for having the cleanest truck around, and did them himself. He enjoyed his life. In 2014, he becaem ill, and moved to Moapa with his son Rick and Karen Scarlott, were he had many adventures, and lived out the rest of his days.

Dick is survived by his children; Loni (Roy) de la Huerta, Rick Robinson, Gina Robinson, Craig (Shannon) Robinson, and Travis Robinson, his eleven grandchildren, his nine great-grandchildren, and his sisters; Valene Scobel and Sharon Gray. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Robinson.
