Diane Nicholson Rodriguez, age 60, died Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born March 10, 1957 in Murray, Utah to Colin and Sarah Pearce Nicholson. On September 2, 1995 she married Alexander Garcia Rodriguez Jr. in Las Vegas, NV. They were sealed February 25, 2000 in the Las Vegas LDS Temple.

Diane grew up in the Salt Lake Valley. She moved to Las Vegas in 1980 with her first husband. They had three children and later divorced. She earned her degree as a CPA and enjoyed working in the Banking Industry. After her marriage to Alex, she worked with him in the mortgage industry. Diane loved adventure. She was a devout member of the LDS Church and loved serving others. Her greatest joy came from being a mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Alex; two daughters and one son: Natalie (Joe) Kristosik; Jessica Smith, both of Las Vegas; Jordan (Chelsea) Smith of Lansing, MI; three step sons and three step daughters: Megan Lada; Taylor Rodriguez; Levi Rodriguez; Joshua (Jenny) Rodriguez all of Las Vegas; Kaycie Vaught of Houston, TX; Brittany (Jeremy) Hartman of Henderson, NV; 25 grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters: Paul Nicholson of SLC, UT; Kathleen (Rich) Bovo of St. George, UT; Melanie (Werner) Meyer of SLC, UT and Hal (Karen) Nicholson of South Jordan, UT. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Elkhorn 2nd Ward Chapel, 8755 Iron Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.  The family has set up a Go Fund Me account for the funeral services.
