Diane Veronica Franks

Diane Veronica Franks, age 74, died Friday, September 5, 2014 at her home in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born April 15, 1940 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Joseph James and Josephine Mary DeFelice Kvietkus. Shortly after Diane's birth, her father died and she was raised by her mother and James Canfield. On May 14, 1960 she married William Douglas Franks in Bridgeport.
Diane grew up in Bridgeport. After their marriage, Doug and Diane moved several times as Doug's career improved, finally settling in Southern California. While Diane did have a Legal Secretary career, her joy came from being a mother and caring for her family. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include her husband, Doug of Mesquite; two sons and one daughter, Doug (Gina); Laura (Michael) Frank both of Wilmington, NC; Christopher (Jacqueline) of Fontana, CA; eight grandchildren: Kayla, Sarah, Shaina, Samuel, Nathaniel, Grace, Ethan and Zeke; two brothers: Jim (Doris) Canfield of Mesquite, NV and Ronnie Canfield of Orange County, CA.
Graveside services will be held (Day, Date, Time) at the Mesquite City Cemetery.
