Denver Allen Veteto, age 81, died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at his home in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born September 9, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Denver Clifton Veteto and Gladys Oline Minor Veteto.  He married the love of his life, Anna Kauffeld on July 9, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN, she preceded him in death in December, 2016.

Denver grew up as a typical boy in Indianapolis that loved fishing and earning badges from the Boy Scouts of America. He served in the US Army as an MP. He raised his family in many different areas of the country including Arkansas, California, Georgia and New Mexico working as a mechanic. He enjoyed leather works, artwork, shooting and hunting. He lived the last 25 years in Laughlin and Mesquite. He was admired by many for his outstanding work ethic.

Survivors include two daughters: De’Ann Veteto of GA; Dawn Veteto of Northwest Montana; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three sisters: Kay Veteto of Muncie, IN; Vicki (Dale) Sawin of Scottsburg, IN and Joanie Bragg of Muncie, IN. He was preceded in death by one son, Keith and two daughters, Stefani Abraham and Shanon Veteto.
