Dennis Howard Rawlings

Dennis Howard Rawlings, age 81, died Friday, January 15, 2021 in Mesquite, Nevada.  He was born June 30, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Daniel Kennedy Jr. and Ramona Marjorie Howard Rawlings.  On December 13, 1971 he married Ann Christin Jhordis Maria Perchwall in Farmington.  They had two sons before she died in 1991.  On June 5, 1993 he married Sherrie Claudine Cottle in Midvale, Utah.  They were sealed June 5, 2003 in the St. George LDS Temple.
Dennis lived most of his life in the Salt Lake Valley where he worked in telecommunications.  He retired and moved to Ivins, Utah.  After living in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a few years he retired to Mesquite in 2015.  He enjoyed spending the summers at his cabin in Tabiona, Utah.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and time with his sons and grandchildren.  He had a great sense of humor and made friends easily.
Survivors include his wife, Sherrie; two sons: Colton (Shauna) of W. Jordan, UT; Zachariah (Caroline) of West Valley City, UT and five grandchildren.
