Dennie George Nichols, Jr. passed away November 19, 2011 at his home in Casper, Wyoming. He was born August 22, 1963, in Las Vegas, Nevada to Dennie G., Sr. and Sharree L. Bishop Nichols. He moved to Overton in 1975 with his family. Dennie loved school and participated in plays: Camelot and Bye Bye Birdie. He was also in the Concert Choir. Dennie joined the U.S. Airforce on September 24, 1981. He was and Honor Graduate from Lowry AFB, Technical Training Center in electronics. After 4 years he was honorably discharged from Seymour Johnson AFB in North Carolina and moved to Las Vegas. There he went to work for American Office Equipment, and completed a formal technical training for copier service. He married Lisa Jo DuMont April 25, 1989 in Overton, NV. He became father to Jozie Marie. They had one son, Douglas George. They moved to Casper, Wyoming where Dennie attended Casper College and as an honor graduate received a bachelors degree in Computer Science and Geology. He completed an internship at NASA in 2005. Dennie is survived by his wife, Lisa Jo, daughter, Jozie Marie and son Douglas George all of Casper, WY; his mother, Sharree Nichols of Overton, NV; sister, Antoinette (Brad) Olsen, nephew, Zack Olsen of Diamond Valley, UT; niece, Enjoli Veazie of St. George, UT; sister, Vanessa Larkins of Kingsport, TN. Graveside service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Pioneer Hill Cemetery in Overton, Nevada.
