Delbert Len Hatton, 76, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in Scenic, Arizona. He was born May 30, 1932 in Cordell, Oklahoma to Clyde Fenton and Mary Davis Hatton. He married Irma Hopper on May 1, 1959 in Farmersville, California.
Delbert lived in Scenic, Arizona for the past three years. He was a lifetime truck driver and was proud of it. He was a ruthless checkers player who showed no mercy, no matter whom he was playing.
He is survived by his wife Irma Hatton; two daughters and one son: Rita (Scott) Hill of Scenic, Arizona; Joe Hatton of Portland, Oregon; Cheryl Hatton of Beaverton, Oregon; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are one granddaughter and nine of his 12 brothers and sisters, including his twin brother who passed away when he was 12 years old.
