Debbie McGlauflin died at home on March 5th in Mesquite, NV of complications from cancer. She was 66.
Debbie was born in Caribou, Maine to parents Ernest (Mac) and Hazel McGlauflin. The family moved from Maine to Wisconsin where Debbie graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1968. She worked in Green Bay in the banking, real estate, and mortgage industries before retiring to Nevada.
Debbie was extremely creative and talented in many arts and crafts. Her expert knitting and needlepoint skills were truly remarkable and enjoyed by family and friends. She was always working on something new with skill and patience. Debbie cherished her family, her childhood summers spent in Maine, and, of course, the Green Bay Packers.
Debbie is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 21 years, Martin (Jay) Kaster; her brother Michael (Mike) and his wife Kathy McGlauflin of Purcellville, VA; and nieces Haley and Elinor McGlauflin. She was preceded in death by both parents.
A memorial for Debbie will be announced at a later date.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the medical professionals and staff at the Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Center in St. George, Utah along with Kindred Hospice whose care and kindness were unwavering.
