David A. Radford

David A. Radford, 77, Lieutenant Commander (Retired), US Navy, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born May 27, 1933 in Portland, Oregon to Delo and Edgar Radford. He was married to Lois Radford on January 16, 1955 in Hutchinson, Kansas. Dave enjoyed twenty-six years in the US Navy and subsequent careers as a business owner, Winters and Radford, Inc. and with the City Planning Department in Boise, ID. He also spent many wonderful hours exploring his family genealogy.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lois of Mesquite, NV; sister, Dolly Currie of Ukiah, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and John Smith of Omaha, NE; son, Steven Radford of Wasilla, AK; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Sonja Radford of Emmett, ID; granddaughters, Heather Winters, Amanda Key (her husband, Ben), Jordan Radford and Cindy Radford; grandsons, Shane Winters , Eric Radford, and Alec Radford ; great- grandchildren, Jake and Noah Key; along with many other dear relatives and friends.

FUNERAL SERVICE, Wednesday, September 1st, 11:00am - Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery - Cabrillo Memorial Drive, San Diego, CA. Memorials to American Diabetes Association or Myelodysplastic Syndrome Foundation.
