David Hollis Muzingo

David Hollis Muzingo, 42, passed away April 25, 2012. He was born January 31, 1970 in Escondido, CA to Hollis C. and Lou (Sizemore) Muzingo.

David graduated from Dixie State College and Weber State University with a bachelor's degree in social work but preferred to make his living in construction.

David served in the National Guard and the U.S. Army. While stationed in Germany, he was involved in an accident that resulted in a medical retirement. The accident left him with a pain filled life for the next 22 A½ years.

David had a keen intellect and was always interested in learning a variety of subjects. He had a phenomenal memory, a sense of humor and a great love for dogs. He related well with children, had empathy for the elderly and for those he felt were less fortunate than he was. He demonstrated this empathy by always sharing what he had.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie Dutton, grandparents Richard and Veda Sizemore, Charles Muzingo and Rena Latham. He is survived by his parents, sister, Leanne Morrell (Russell), and nephews Austin and Cameron Morrell.

Graveside services, with a military honor guard, were held May 3, 2012 at the Payson, Utah City Cemetery.
