David Newman Lake

David Newman Lake, 53, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 in St. George, Utah. He was born August 17, 1962 to Newman K. and Elenoa Mulitalo Lake, David was such an inspiration to everyone who was blessed to be in his life and to know him.
David was born in Kahuku, on the island of Oahu with his twin sister Davina Lake. He attended Laie Elementary and Kahuku High School. He was an outstanding police officer and sergeant of the Maui Police Dept. and retired after 25 years of service. (9 in the Vice division) He was a devoted husband and father.
He is survived by his wife Margie Lynn Lake; daughters, Patricia, Freda, Brandy and sons, Justin, Larry and Johnny; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; his mother Elenoa Coleman; siblings: Mike, Davina (his twin sister), Martin, Michael, David Matthew and Newman Jr.; and Mom Toiva Lake.
Services for David will be Saturday, June 18, 2016 in the Whipple Chapel, 121 Whipple Way, Mesquite, NV at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at the Mesquite City Cemetery. Cards and/or donations can be sent to 320 E. Old Mill Rd., Mesquite, NV 89021.
