David Wade Hedger, 66, passed away on January 26, 2025 in Overton, NV. Wade was born on March 15, 1958 in Lancaster, CA to David Larry Hedger and Betty Ann Thomson. He was raised in Las Vegas, NV, and developed a love for bareback- and bull-riding. He qualified for the 1971 Little Britches Rodeo, and was so excited to be in a documentary, “Great American Cowboy”. He continued to ride, and later Clowned for the Clark Co. Fair and Rodeo for many years. He left high school early to work with his father as a plumber and pipefitter. In the 90’s, he married Nicole Stuart and move to Lamar, CO. They were later divorced, and Wade moved back to Nevada, and eventually to Overton, NV. Wade was a kind, gentle, thoughtful, and well spoken. He would write poetry for his mother. He had a big heart. He loved kids, and loved his little stray dog. He loved westerns and his cowboy lifestyle.
Wade is survived by his sister, Debra Hedger. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Betty Hedger, and his brother, Doyle Hedger.
