Daniel Lee Nickrand, age 39, died suddenly Friday, April 5, 2013 at his home in Moapa, Nevada. He was born June 26, 1973 in Mt. Clemons, Michigan to Richard and Donna Hunter Nickrand. On June 6, 2001, he married Danielle Darlene Etsitty in Moapa, Nevada. Daniel grew up in Michigan. He spent a few years in North Carolina before moving out west in 1996 after a "brief" visit. He enjoyed working outside, landscaping, gardening and collecting. He also enjoyed artwork and being with his family. Survivors include his wife, Danielle of Moapa, NV; one son, Jacob of MI; two daughters, Summer and Autumn, both of Moapa; two sisters and three brothers: Anna, Tammy, Rick, Dave and Joseph. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the Moapa Tribal Building on the Moapa Paiute Indian Reservation.
