Colleen Mary Trujillo

Colleen Mary Mike Trujillo, age 65, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born July 20, 1949 in Logandale, Nevada to Roy and Clara Meyers Mike. On January 1, 2000 she married Hermengildo Trujillo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Colleen grew up in Moapa, Nevada where she attended Moapa Valley High School and Stewart Indian School. She raised her family in Las Vegas while earning her Associates Degree from College of Southern Nevada. She continued to work for CSN as an administrator in the Division of Workforce. She enjoyed reading, art and time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Herme, daughter, Carol Patrick Smokey; grandchildren, Sterlin and Taylor Smokey all of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters and one brother: Iris Daboda of Moapa, NV; Melissa Oppenhein and Lavar Tom both of Ibapah, Utah.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Moapa LDS Chapel, 14220 E. Barlow Ave, Moapa, NV. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel. A Traditional Indian Sing will follow at the Moapa Tribal Building. Interment will be Sunday at sunrise in the Moapa Indian Cemetery.
