Cody Frederick Law

C ody F. Law 41 of Mesquite, Nevada passed away peacefully at 7:00 a.m. July 13, 2022, at a resort rental property in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.  He was born May 17, 1981, in Boise, Idaho.  His parents are Douglas and Carolyn (Scherf) Law. He is survived by his wife Heather and their daughters Allie, Avery, Olivia, Addison; his mother Carolyn; his three brothers Jamison, Jeremy and Adam and his sister Lindsey.

Cody was very active as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His strong testimony was demonstrated by years of church service.  He served a mission for the Church in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala and served in many assignments in the church throughout his life.  Cody has a generous heart and is always looking for opportunities to help others spiritually, emotionally, professionally, and financially.

Cody and Heather were married on October 26, 2002, in the Las Vegas Temple. Cody loved his wife Heather, and their girls Allie 18, Avery 15, Olivia 14, and Addison 12, and his extended family dearly.  Cody was always fun-loving and seemed to be at his happiest when he was with "his girls”.

Professionally, Cody was a golf marketer, and, in that profession, he excelled providing business success and growth for many golf clients and enthusiasts. Cody’s impact in the golf industry will be missed by all who know him.  We will all miss Cody and his energetic manner and will remember him fondly every day.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday July 26, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Stake Center located at 100 North Arrowhead Lane. There will be a viewing prior to the service at 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.  Cody will be buried in the Mesquite Cemetery on Hardy Way. The family invites friends and family to leave a message or memory on their Guestbook page at virginvalleymortuary.com.
