Clovis Leon Gaddis

December 16, 1918 — March 24, 2013

Clovis Leon Gaddis, 94, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at his Littlefield residence. He was born December 16, 1918 in Bochito, OK to Walter William Gaddis and Lola Dyer. He married Evelyn Mae Vaughan Gaddis October 29, 1980 in Las Vegas, NV. Clovis grew up and graduated in Calexico, CA. He was and avid tinkerer. He was an absolute pot stirrer and actually had a degree in it. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends. He is survived by his five sons; Rod (Anne) Gaddis, Steven (Linda) Smith, Jim (Susan) Morris, Terry (Ann) Smith, Robin (Felicia) Smith; three daughters, Sandra (Roger) Whitney, Kaynell (Charles) Wright and Cheri Smith; sister-in-law, Jean Craig; brother-in-law, Jimmy Vaughan; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife; son, Brian Leroy Smith; two sisters, Pauline Scharamutz and Virginia Brents and his parents. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 8 at 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary Chapel in Redland, CA interment will be at 12:00 p.m. at the Summit Cemetery in Beaumont, CA.
