Clinton Dereck Whitmore
August 10, 1964 — April 18, 2010
Clinton Dereck Whitmore, age 45, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at his home in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born August 10, 1964 in St. George, Utah to John Deal and Kathleen Ann Whitmore.
Clinton lived most of his life in Maopa Valley. He graduated from Moapa Valley High School in 1982 where he excelled in wrestling. He attended Ricks College for one year before serving an LDS Mission in Wisconsin. He worked in road, home and commercial construction. He was an avid reader, loved music and enjoyed hiking and making people laugh.
Survivors include his parents, John and Kathy of Logandale, NV; five brothers and one sister: Boyd of Logandale, NV; Wesley of Henderson, NV; Jason (Narshi) of Henderson, NV; Tyler (Sarah) of Gilbert, AZ; Becky of Mesa, AZ; Dalen of Las Vegas, NV and five nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Logandale LDS Hinckley Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery in Overton, Nevada under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary.
