Clark Robert Freeman, age 88, died Monday, May 22, 2017 in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born May 15, 1929 in Salt Lake City , Utah to Abraham Clark Freeman and Minnie Olga Bailey.

Clark spent a lot of his childhood working in his father’s tire shop in Pasadena, California. As a young man he joined the Army and saw Korean Action. After his military service he became a firefighter with the Pasadena Fire Department and served from April 1955 to September 1974 and retired with 19 years and 5 months. He later worked in Colorado as a ski lift operator, and spent 5-6 years in Hawaii. For a time he lived in Hurricane, Utah, Ely, Nevada, Apple Valley, Utah, Beaver Dam, Arizona and finally Overton, Nevada.

He loved to travel and was able to go to Africa and Australia. He enjoyed hunting and flying and worked to get his pilots license.

Survivors include his two children: Cynthia Christine Carlson and Robert Clark Freeman.

Interment will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 12 p.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
