Christopher James Hartley, age 24, passed away Thursday, June 18th 2015 in Hinesville, Georgia. He was born June 28, 1990 in Cedar City, Utah to James Robert and Shannon Frehner Hartley.
Chris was raised in Cedar City, Las Vegas, and Scenic, Arizona where he played high school football and received his high school diploma. He moved to Hinesville Georgia to be with his fiancé Mayra Chiclana with plans to be married.
Christopher was a kind and gentle man. He was happy making others happy. He loved the outdoors, fishing, riding motorcycles, four wheelers, and he loved football. His most favorite passion was spending time with his family and being a devoted big brother. He was an avid writer and loved to express his life feelings and experiences in words. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Survivors include his father James, sister Kaleiah; Grandmother, Toni Frehner of Scenic AZ; Aunt, Stacie Frehner of Cedar City, Utah and Fiancé Mayra Chiclana of Hinesville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shannon; and his Grandparents, Verl Frehner, Patricia and William Hartley.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Mesquite LDS Whipple Chapel, 121 Arrowhead Lane, Mesquite, NV. Visitation will be Friday June 26, 2015 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the Chapel. Interment will follow the Services at the Mesquite City Cemetery.
