Chris Schaeffel, age 59, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chris was born on April 14, 1952 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to Ken and Gloria Conway (Nettesheim). She married Leroy "Buck" Schaeffel on February 8, 1974 in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Chris went to Waukesha High School and attended Rhinelander Tech for two years. Chris and Buck moved to Minocqua, Wisconsin in 1976 where they lived until moving to Mesquite, Nevada in 2005. Chris has been a realtor for Bowler Realty for the last five years. She loved to cook and sew and play the penny slots. Chris was a very kind and loving person and will be missed by many.
Chris is survived by her husband, Buck of Mesquite, NV; sisters, Deb Van Wagenen of Mesquite, NV and Stephanie Drucker of Tampa, FL; and brother, Tim Conway of Waukesha, WI.
