Charles Howard "Todd" Urban, age 79, died November 17, 2010 in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born February 6, 1931 in Lloydsville, Ohio to Frank Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Harris Urban. On April 3, 1954 he married Norma Lee Gottke in Junction City, Ohio.
Todd grew up in Satillo and Sommerset, Ohio. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict where he learned diesel mechanic skills. In 1963, he moved to Soda Springs, Idaho where he worked in the mines as a diesel mechanic. On the side, with his wife, he built and operated the Lake View Motel and later started the RV business, Rocky Mountain RV Sales. He was a Mason and belonged to the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, "Tootie" of Overton, NV; two sons, Charles of Winnemucca, NV; Michael (LaRee) of Soda Springs, ID; four grandchildren; two granddaughters and one sister, Mae Sarger of Crooksville, OH. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary Chapel with visitation one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will follow in the Pioneer Hill Memorial Cemetery in Overton, Nevada under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary.
