Charles Richard "Dick" Mckee

Charles Richard "Dick" McKee, age 78 , passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at his home in Las Vegas, NV. He was born May 3, 1938 in Orange County, CA. In 1962 he married Dee Ellen Cates. They had two children, and were later divorced. On October 19, 1982 he married Doreen Ann De Roeck in Sedona, Arizona.
Charles grew up in Fullerton ,CA. He served in the USAF as a pilot and flew in the Strategic Air Command. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from UC Davis in Mechanical Engineering. He raised his family in Orange County, California where he owned and operated a machine shop, CME Company. He later worked for Ingersoll cutting tools. He enjoyed shooting, woodworking, airplanes, and boating. He retired to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999.
He is survived by his wife Doreen, and his four children: Michelle (Yajaira Cachonegrete) Sutter of Iowa Park, TX; Rick (Aaron) McKee of Logandale, NV; Jill (Tommy Perkins) Williams of Overton, NV, Jim (Penny) Gladwin of Las Vegas, NV and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, NV. A visitation will be from 10 - 11 a.m. prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will follow in the St. Thomas Cemetery.
