Charles Lee Harper, age 62, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 in Pioche, Nevada. He was born June 6, 1954 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Richard and Hazel F. Nuce Harper. On September 27, 1991 he married Bella Mau in Garrett County, Maryland.
Charles grew up in West Virginia. He served in the US Army Special Forces. After his time in the service, he began working in construction, first as a Driller in Hawaii and later as a crane operator in Nevada. He enjoyed hunting and horseback riding. He loved time with the neighbors and the peaceful quiet life of the country.
Survivors include his wife, Bella of Moapa, NV; one brother, Rex (Judy) of PA and one sister, Rickie Harper of WV.
