Charles David Faught

August 29, 1938 — July 26, 2014

Charles David Faught, 75, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 in St. George, Utah. He was born August 29, 1938 in Taylor, Arizona to Henry Albert and Bessie Bundy Faught. He married Donna Hunt on November 7, 1959 in the Manti Temple. They had four children and later divorced. On November 2, 1973 he married Marjorie Mae Schreiner and they were sealed in the St. George LDS Temple on November 2, 1976.

As a child, Charles lived in St. George, UT. At an early age he moved to Mesquite, Nevada, then Bunkerville, Nevada. He did worked as a bus driver, as a truck driver, in the disposal business and later owned and operated the Valley Garage. He served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He enjoyed square dancing with his wife, hunting, 4- wheeling, and being in the mountains with his family. He was a real cowboy.

He is survived by his wife Marjorie of Bunkerville, NV; daughters, Laureen (Calvin) Gabbitas of Genola, UT, Shirlyn (Joseph) Zerkle of Mesquite, NV, Shauna (Mark) Houser of Mesquite, NV, Deanne Faught of Mesquite, Nevada, Minette (Daniel) Santos of Bunkerville, NV, Cindy (Don) Townsend of California; sons, Charles A. (Jannie) Faught of W. Yellowstone, MT, David (Christina) Faught of Beaver Dam, AZ, Dwaine (JoAnne) McConnell of Mesquite, NV, Scott (Jennifer) McConnell of Orem, UT, Mark (Dorothy) McConnell of Bunkerville, NV, and Doug McConnell of Virginia; 40 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Margaret (Lavoy) Whitmore of Utah, Lauretta Faught of Lund, NV, Roy (Sherry) Faught of Lund, NV, Guy (Patricia) Faught of Mesquite, NV, Ramona Crane of Logandale, NV, Jack (Kathy) Faught of Bunkerville, NV, Oneta (Stephen) Petersen of Las Vegas, NV, and Winona Faught of Mesquite, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Barbara.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10 a..m. at the Bunkerville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 1, 2014 from 6 - 8 p.m. and again Saturday, from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m., both at the Bunkerville LDS Chapel.
