Cecelia Louise Johnston passed away on September 21, 2015. She was born December 19, 1942 in Bakersfield, CA to Francis George and Frances Louise McLaughlan. Cecelia and Lee Neil Johnston were married on April 5, 1965 in Fallon, NV. They moved to the Valley in January 1967.
She was warmhearted, loving, thoughtful, and onery. Cecelia loved to make jams, jellies, bread, cookies, and food to take to her family and friends. Her many good deeds known or unknown throughout the years brought much happiness and friendships. She had a great love for animals, the outdoors, and working the range. She also loved the mountains, and going to the ocean to look for shells and feel the cool air.
Cecelia is survived by her husband Lee, two sons and one daughter: Wayne of Las Vegas, NV ; Lee Jr. of Overton, NV; Anita Szelestey of Las Vegas, NV ; grandchildren: Neil, Kaitlin, Mariah, and Hailey; four great grandchildren, one sister, Marie Peterson; one niece, Josie Peterson; one nephew, Bim Peterson, two great nieces, one g-great niece, and one g-great nephew.
An open house to celebrate her life will be held at the Calvary Community Church Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 2 - 4 p.m. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
