C. Dylan Peterson passed away in a tragic accident on July 17, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. Dylan was born October 12, 1985 in St. George, Utah to Kevin Ray Peterson and Julie Phillips.
Dylan was a fun loving kid growing up and always into mischief as kids do, but always the protector of those around him. His siblings, friends and family and also those he served with in the Marine Corps.
Dylan will always be known for his wit and humor, his love of family especially his young family in Texas. We as a family are so very proud of how Dylan grew into the husband, father and son, uncle and cousin and the Solider he became. Dylan’s presence will be forever felt in the lives that were close to him and loved him dearly.
Dylan graduated from Virgin Valley High School in Mesquite, NV in 2004. Upon graduating he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was a helicopter crew chief on Marine Gunship Transport Helicopters. Dylan served six and a half years for his country, doing three deployments in Iraq, heroically protecting our troops in combat zones throughout the theater.
Dylan was a man of faith and integrity sharing his love of Christ with everyone around him. Dylan is survived by his loving wife Katelynn Peterson; children: Seraph Faith (5yrs. old), Ana Rose (21 months old), and new baby girl due this Oct. 2018 all of Wills Point, Texas; his parents Kevin (Loretta) Peterson of Logandale, NV and Julie Phillips of Westcliff, Colorado; brother D.
