Catherine Hemley 64, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born March 23, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York to James Dolan and May Grobels Dolan. She met her husband Robert Hemley Sr. in August 1966 and they have been together ever since. Catherine has lived in Mesquite for the past ten years, moving from Queens, New York where she raised her two children, Robert and Amy. She worked in Franklin K. Lane High School in the math department for almost 20 years. She enjoyed gambling and hanging out with her girlfriends, The Desert Dames and Red Hat Divas. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. Catherine is survived by her husband Robert Hemley Sr., son Robert Hemley Jr., daughter Amy Hemley and four grandchildren, Patrick, Katherine, Mya and Peter. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, sister and brother. Memorial services will be Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Virgin Valley Mortuary at 320 East Old Mill Road, Mesquite, Nevada 89027.
