Carlos Manzanares, 53, passed away on January 21, 2022 in Mesquite, NV after a short battle with COVID-19. Carlos was born on June 20, 1968 in Salt Lake City, UT to Ramon and Dolores Manzanares. He was one of five children. Carlos met Shellie Hartwell who became his best friend and the love of his life. They were married a few years later on October 9, 1993 in Salt Lake City, UT. They moved from Utah to Logandale, Nevada in 2012.
Carlos was a hard worker, who could never be idle, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Carlos loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and ATVs. Carlos could always put a smile on your face, no matter the situation. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed many lively times, where everyone laughed until their stomachs hurt.
Carlos is survived by his wife, Shellie Manzanares; his son, Joshua Manzanares; his daughter, Ashli (C.J.) Edwards; his grandchildren, Daxton, Corey Jay, and Dominic; his siblings, Ramona (Bryan) Bench, Matthew Manzanares, Rachael (Javier) Ruiz, and Philip (Kimberly) Manzanares; as well as a large extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents.
