He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Australia East Mission from ’69-71. After attending Brigham Young University, he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Utah State College in Cedar City, UT. He loved moving houses around both Southern Utah and Nevada, until a back injury transferred him to drawing and city planning. He later worked as a civil engineer for firms in Las Vegas, Mesquite and Moapa Valley. He retired after working for the Moapa Valley Water District.
As a faithful member of the church, he enjoyed serving in the Temple, ministering to others and his time serving as Bishop of the Moapa Ward. He will be remembered as a great story teller, a good harmonica player and singer, a smooth dancer and a loyal friend.
