Bonnie Turner

Bonita Lou "Bonnie" Turner, age 61, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in Overton, Nevada. She was born October 14, 1953 in Seattle, Washington to Henry Shepherd Jr. and Nordene Mildred Mills. On October 14, 1988 she married Robert Dale Turner in Reno, Nevada.
Bonnie grew up I n Southern California. She lived in Paris, Arkansas; Reno, NV; Beaver Dam, AZ and Delta, CO before she finally settled in Overton, NV in 2000. She worked as a PBX operator for the Oasis Hotel / Casino. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, making candles, crossword puzzles and oil painting. Although she never had children, she always enjoyed being with her family, nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her husband, Dale of Overton; mother, Mildred (Terry) Allen of Overton; brother, Juan (Bernice) Nevarez of Lucerne, CA; Everett Nevarez of Wendover, NV. She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters, Anita Nevarez York and Brenda Nevarez Musick.
Memorial Services will be held Sunday, March 8, 2015 4 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, NV.
